Condos

Starting from: $40,000 to $250,000+

A condominium, or condo, is a building or community of buildings in which units are owned by individuals, rather than a landlord.

Condo owners only own the interior of their unit. All other areas, including the building exterior, lawn and communal areas, are property of the Homeowners Association (HOA). HOA fees pay for amenities and exterior upkeep, such as lawn care, trash removal and pest control.

Condo communities often have a club house, pool, golf course and/or similar amenity.

Condos come in many different styles and in many sizes (generally up to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.)

Benefits of Owning a Condo

Many condos offer gated or lock entries.
TIP If security if one of your concerns, a condo could be the way to go.

They are often price lower than single-family homes.
TIP They are more affordable and make a great first step into home ownership.

Condos usually offer amenities such as pool, fitness center, club house, tennis courts and more.
TIP These amenities are most of the time out of reach for the average homeowner.

TIP In my opinion, the single most important benefit of owning a condo is the low maintenance. If you are busy with work, like to travel, in poor health or simply don’t want to have to deal with it, a condo will suit your needs. As part of your Home Owner Association fees, people will do the maintenance for you. From cutting the grass, painting of the building, maintenance of grounds, roofs and common areas.
